One Time – EVOC
This 6-hour Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) Recertification is designed to reinforce safe driving principles for EMS professionals operating emergency vehicles in high-risk environments. The course reviews critical concepts including defensive driving strategies, vehicle dynamics, risk management, legal considerations, and decision-making during emergency response and transport.
Participants will refresh their knowledge of safe vehicle positioning, intersection navigation, backing procedures, adverse weather operations, and driver responsibility to patients, crew, and the public. Emphasis is placed on reducing preventable collisions, improving situational awareness, and maintaining compliance with agency and state training expectations.
