Overview 40509BR Requisition ID: 40509BR Business Unit: FSU Job Title: FEMA - Program Delivery Specialist Group: WAF Field Mod Fringe Employment Type: Temporary Job Site Location: United States - Nationwide Responsibilities Collects, coordinates and/or reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments, including audits for completeness, reviews of information gathered during the Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA), exploratory calls to gather information from applicants, and understanding each applicant’s projects and recovery priorities. Supports the communication process with the applicant about their status by scheduling regular meetings, tracking and following up with the applicants on FEMA’s requests. Coordinates transmittal of documents through FEMA’s Consolidated Resource Centers using a web-based tool, schedules site inspections with the applicants and Site Inspector Task Force Leader, and identifies when technical expertise may be needed throughout the program delivery process. Supports the claims process by reviewing and validating damage details, scopes of work, and costs with the applicant. Participates in regular FEMA meetings by providing updates on work status and may evaluate claims and make recommendations to FEMA as to whether the claim is eligible. Assists with the development of the Determination Memo and communicating final determinations to the applicants during close out. Conducts an exit briefing with the applicant. Performs other duties as required. May coordinate and complete basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate and record damage to assist in the FEMA Public Assistance grant delivery process. Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a FEMA Badge, which includes a background investigation for a Public Trust position. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Domestic travel is required. 5 years of in-field experience (2 years of in-field experience with a bachelor’s degree). Pay Range Minimum: $27.30 Pay Range Maximum: $48.30 Additional Compensation: All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
