HR Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company based out of McMinnville, OR. We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join their team. In this role, you will support a wide range of human resources functions including employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and benefits administration, while helping to foster a positive and productive workplace environment.

Location: McMinnville, OR (onsite)

Duration: Temp-to-hire

Hours/Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Compensation: $27$35 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to employees and managers
  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting efforts including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
  • Administer benefits programs and assist with open enrollment and employee questions
  • Maintain HRIS records and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Support performance management processes, including reviews and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Assist with leave administration, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee engagement

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of HR Generalist or related experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
  • Experience with employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus

Pay Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
