Position Title RF Test Engineer Position Description Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity located in Redmond, WA. Job Responsibilities Perform calibration, characterization, and validation of RF systems, subsystems, and components. Develop and execute automated test scripts in Python to streamline RF test workflows. Operate, configure, and troubleshoot common RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, oscilloscopes, power meters, etc.). Maintain and optimize test setups within Linux-based environments. Analyze and interpret test results, identify root causes of anomalies, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with design engineers to provide feedback and improve RF hardware performance. Maintain calibration records, test documentation, and compliance with quality standards. Support continuous improvement of test methodologies and calibration processes. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in RF testing, calibration, or related engineering roles. Strong hands‑on knowledge of RF fundamentals (S-parameters, impedance, gain, noise figure, linearity, etc.). Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and data analysis. Experience with Linux environments (command‑line, scripting, automation tools). Skilled in the use of RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, etc.). Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and documentation skills. Job Details Job Type: Contract Location: Redmond, WA. Pay Rate Range: $65-95/hr.
