Senior RF Test Systems Engineer – Onsite Location: McKinney, TX. This full‑time position supports Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) Test Automation and requires a 100% onsite presence in McKinney, TX. About the Role The Test Automation Department (TAD) designs and develops test equipment, hardware, and software for a wide range of products and customers. The STaRS Test Automation section supports change incorporation and obsolescence redesign efforts of various legacy systems in direct support of production capabilities. Responsibilities Troubleshoot test equipment, circuit boards, cables, and related components. Analyze data, develop solutions or alternative methods to optimize performance and increase work efficiency. Facilitate project tasks with functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives. Work independently to drive toward project goals. Required Qualifications Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of RF experience. At least 5 years of experience emphasizing Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT) Test Systems Engineering. Experience with hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance in production, manufacturing, or product qualification environments. Effective communication skills within a cross‑functional team of test personnel (electrical, software, mechanical, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of RF technology across Communications and Radar systems. Experience with Agile Methodologies. Proficiency in test software such as MATLAB, Test Stand, and/or Test Executive. Security Clearance U.S. citizenship is required. The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required; an active and existing clearance must be in place from day one. Benefits & Relocation This position is eligible for relocation.
